The violin, also referred to as a fiddle, is a wooden string instrument belonging to the violin family. It is characterized by its hollow wooden body and is the smallest and highest-pitched instrument commonly used in this family. While smaller violin-type instruments like the violino piccolo and the kit violin exist, they are rarely utilized. The standard violin typically features four strings tuned in perfect fifths. It is primarily played by drawing a bow across the strings, although plucking the strings with the fingers (pizzicato) and striking them with the wooden side of the bow (col legno) are also possible techniques.

Violins hold significant importance across various musical genres. They have a prominent role in Western classical music, both as part of ensembles ranging from chamber music to orchestras and as solo instruments. Additionally, violins are integral to many forms of folk music, such as country and bluegrass, as well as jazz. In certain rock and jazz fusion styles, electric violins with solid bodies and piezoelectric pickups are utilized, with the pickups connected to instrument amplifiers and speakers for sound production. Furthermore, violins have found their way into non-Western musical traditions like Indian and Iranian music. It's worth noting that the term "fiddle" is often used regardless of the specific musical genre played on it.

The Violin Real app offers a realistic simulation of two types of violins: arco (using hand dragging for bowing) and pizzicato (using hand touch). Its frequency range spans from G3 to A5#. The app provides a wide selection of songs for practice, both online and offline, with the ability to adjust playback speed.

The app offers three play modes:
<ul>
 <li>Simple (Recommended for Beginners): This mode only requires the use of the right hand for bowing (arco) or plucking the strings (pizzicato).</li>
 <li>Professional: This mode involves using both hands. The right hand is responsible for bowing (arco) or plucking (pizzicato), while the left hand is used to select the desired note (frequency) on the violin's strings.</li>
 <li>No Bow: In this mode, the violin sound can be produced by pressing notes using one or both hands.</li>
</ul>

The app offers an autoplay feature to listen to songs, and also includes a music sheet creation feature. Users can create, save, and open music sheets with two instruments: violin and piano. These music sheets can be exported for playback or sharing with others.

Furthermore, the app provides a recording feature that allows users to record, play back, and share their recordings with friends.
